Donate to Harambee & Support a Student!
Harambee Ministries is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Contributions go to the general operating fund in support each of Harambee’s three core ministries: student education, affordable housing and employment opportunities.
The Harambee Schools
We provide a private Christian education to 40-50 low-income Pre-K and elementary school students annually with very little cost to the families.

We provide affordable and transitional housing to 10-15 individuals and families each year in an effort to address the housing crisis in Pasadena.
The PUSH Catering
In 2016, we provided over 7,000 hours of job training, work experience and wage earning opportunities to over 25 people in our community.
Nurtured thousands of children
Since 1982, we have educated, equipped and supported over 1,000 students.
Brightened the futures of students
Approximately 95% of our students graduate high school and nearly 80% go on to college, which are among the highest rates in Northwest Pasadena, CA.
Transformed the neighborhood
For over 35 years, we have served a 12-block target area in Northwest Pasadena, CA. Centered at Howard St. and Navarro Ave., the location was once called “blood corner,” but with decades of love, dedication and service, we have improved conditions for kids, students, families and our community.
